I was in America when our Bobby passed, pretty cut up about it but no tears, one thing I did do though is get a number plate that was WHU FC:

Same as Coffee, sad and upset etc, but never cried.
But, when England beat Columbia on pens at the last world cup I was all over the place, for whatever reason that really got to me. When we lost the Semi to Croatia I wasn't that arsed.

I've never shed a tear over West Ham.
Been thoroughly miserable, yes. (Sitting in a rainy McDonalds car park in Manchester listening to the radio as we got relegated in 2003 ranks particularly high.)
Been delirious. (Beating Man U to stay up in 2007, watching on TV in a Dhaka hotel room for one; winning the FA Cup in 1980 is another; as were beating Liverpool and Blackburn to stay up in 1995.)
Been genuinely sad (the extraordinary display when we played Wolves after Bobby Moore died, and the one-minute silence, were both very moving.)
But cried... no.

In addition, there was a BBC radio special on the matter, had Firmager, et al - usual Green St familiarities sharing their memories.
On that stuck were the sisters from Our Lady of Compassion who hadn’t, until that point, been informed that we were off to Stratford- they spoke very warmly of the fans and one of them sang bubbles.

when martin PETERS died,it brought a lot home to me,regarding what could and should have been.
when the death of John LYALL nd more recently Peter BRAYBROOK TWO OF THE BEST ,and absolute gentlemen became memories.
my oldest friends at WEST HAM the two Mals departed .
ALLISON and MUSGROVE deaths left a chasm where their knowledge shoul d be

Bobby Moore's death definitely, and occasionally still. The Wolves game following Bob's death was incredibly emotional, obviously, but the bit that got me was when a small group of Wolves fans, in total silence, climbed over the wall onto the pitch and carried a wreath to the centre circle.

I didn't go the Wolves game after Bobby Moores death a mates brother got nicked for trying to steal a Wolves coach
The most gutting for me was 2006. I watched every round in a West Ham bae the Drum and Monkey Naglua Road South of Pattaya.On the way to final I saw a couple of scousers in the bar on the way to the Drum and Monkey and I sat and watched with them and they were ok about they were not gobbing off after

Yep that was emotional, and fair play to Wolves that day, they were class.
2006, I was shit faced can't remember if I'd shed a tear or not. I know I shed something from my arse later into my pants later on in the evening though. :-(

Welled up, but no tears left my eye.....
1. Arsenal FA Cup Quarter Final replay in 1998. The one where Bergkamp got sent off for elbowing, and John Hartson scored a last minute equaliser. I was sure we were gonna win, but lost on penalties. I was devastated.
2. Leaving Upton Park - as I live in Ireland now, I was delighted that I was able to get a ticket to the original last ever game at the stadium - Swansea. We lost 4-1 which wasn't the best send off. Then I had to watch the Man Utd official last game from my sofa - but got a bit emotional when we won. Used to have a season ticket there with my brothers - one of whom later kicked the bucket, so it was full of memories.
3. 2006 FA Cup Final - that was just cruel, to be 2-0 up, then 3-2 up in the very last minute, then to hit the woodwork and see a miss from 5 yards in extra time. Fucking Liverpool.

The minute silence vs Wolves for Bobby Moore brought me to tears and still does. I've never experienced a silence that I could touch like that.

Never cried but Bobby passing was a choker as was when John Lyall got sacked and also when he passed on. Both great Hammers.

Was choked up but never cried over anything football related, closest i got was going past what was the stadium on a trip down to my sister. Just looked so wrong it no longer being there.
